Psychotherapy is an invaluable investment in yourself. It is important to recognize that you are seeking out someone to guide, teach, and help you resolve long-standing issues, provide insight and possibly make suggestions for ways to do things differently. You are paying for my expertise, experience, education and training, not just for my time.

Many clients chose to use their individual insurance benefits if they include some form of mental health coverage. I accept only limited forms of insurance. Because this is a complicated issue, it is best to contact your insurance plan directly and ask if I am an "in network provider". Please be aware that even if I am “in network”, I may not be accepting new clients for a specific insurance company. If I am, though, you will only be required to pay whatever your co-pay or deductible may be and the rest will be covered by your insurance. If I am not an in network provider for your insurance, you have the option of asking your insurance company to provide you referrals or asking if you can see me and inquire as to whether they will pay a portion of my fee.

If you want to see me for psychological services, but I am not covered by your insurance, I can directly bill your insurance, however, you will still be responsible for any amount they do not cover. Alternatively, I can provide you with a "superbill" or receipt with which you may attempt to collect reimbursement from your insurance company. You can view my Fee Schedule here.

Please note that my appointment times for insurance clients are strictly between the hours of 10am and 4pm. If you would like an early morning appointment (at or before 9am) or at or after 5pm, these times are reserved for clients who are not using insurance to pay for services and are paying my current cash rate.

I accept all forms of payment in the office including health Flexible Spending Account funds.
