Psychotherapy is an invaluable investment in yourself. It is important to recognize that you are seeking out someone to guide, teach, and help you resolve long-standing issues, provide insight and possibly make suggestions for ways to do things differently. You are paying for my expertise, experience, education and training, not just for my time.
Many clients chose to use their individual insurance benefits if they include some form of mental health coverage. I accept many forms of insurance. Because this is a complicated issue, it is best to contact your insurance plan directly and ask if I am an "in network provider". If so, you will only be required to pay whatever your co-pay or deductible may be and the rest will be covered by your insurance. If I am not an in network provider for your insurance, you have the option of asking your insurance company to provide you referrals or asking if you can see me and have them cover me. If you still want to see me for psychological services, but I am not covered by your insurance, you will need to pay out-of-pocket but I can provide you with a "superbill" or receipt with which you may collect reimbursement from your insurance company. You can view my Fee Schedule here. Please be aware that I also will, on a case-by-case basis, reduce my fee if you are truly unable to pay the scheduled fee.
I accept cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
